A government project with an airtight budget and set-in-stone deadline where securing materials on a certain quantity with a down payment was a financial burden. Also, the project lacked a strong experience on BIM, and the consultants barely knew one another. Last, the build-design procurement route specified pouring foundations during the early construction documentation phase.
With a multi-disciplinary team, CorbisStudio presented a proposal using BIM technology (Revit Suite) to produce architectural, structural MEP and Fire and Safety modeling and documentation. We developed a solid BIM Strategy, set up a BIM Room to meet and discuss discrepancies, clashes, and missing information, and visited the site regularly to keep documentation updated.
